Paint problems

So I did the first “step” in my car care – the “Scratch remover”. Basically, you apply this goop on the car and buff the hell out of it – which I did with this thing. It’s SUPPOSED to remove “fine swirls and scratches”, and oh, it did that. See? Lookin’ pretty good!

Yeah, it didn’t stop there, though. I took off the FUCKING TOP COAT of the paint! So when you brush your hand over the car, now PAINT FLECKS JUST COME RIGHT OFF!!!

So either the goop or the polisher are a little too exited about their work. For crying out loud, this means I may have to repaint! I’m going to apply the next step of the process (well, actually the step after that- the next step is “paint cleaner”, but I’m worried if I apply somethign too rough, the paint will just fall off) which is Sealant, so hopefully that will keep the remaining paint on the hood.

The thing still isn’t running either – the stupid tags haven’t arrived from the UK. Very frustrating.

Too bad about the paint. That little thing is looking damn sexy. How many times have you heard that?
