Uh oh

Apple’s just issued a press release saying that if you unlock your iPhone, it may become “permanently inoperable” when they issue “future software upgrades to the device”. Let’s hope there’s a little box that allows me to say “no thanks” when my Mac pipes up and asks if I want to install the next software update to my iPhone… or I may just be the owner of a shiny new 500 dollar paperweight!

Well, it was fun while it lasted. My last comment about suggesting you hop down to the US and get one for your very own self? Yeah, you may want to hold on that for a week or so.
